The Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin has been awarded a $100,000 grant from the Petco Foundation to support the society’s effort to build a new shelter facility.

It comes from the Petco Foundation to help provide animals in the shelter with veterinary services before being adopted.

The Brandywine Valley Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals announced it was awarded a $500,000 grant from the Petco Foundation.
